Hike to Oyster Dome

T and I have been trying to hike more this year, and we’ve already gone on a few really good ones (and a few bad ones… I hate crowded hikes!). In an effort to avoid the crowds, we went up to Bellingham for this one, and it felt SOOO good to get out of Seattle.

About halfway up we had an incredible view of the Strait of Juan DeFuca. Gorgeous. I really love this area, and we had such beautiful weather today.

The views were amazing, and the weather was lovely, but I think the best part was when I was high-tailing it down the mountain and I almost stepped on this snake!
The snake I almost stepped onEeek!
